FAQS & TIPS

 

RULES

  1. Shampoo biweekly to remove dirt and build-up with a mild or tea tree shampoo

  2. Condition your raw hair extensions.  This helps with detangling and adding moisture back to the weave.

  3. Do not put too much product in your hair or the weave will become greasy.

  4. After shampoo, dry your hair thoroughly!  If not, your braids will hold an odor.  Also do not sleep with wet or damp hair.

  5. If you have leave out, please do not neglect it.  If there happens to be a of product build up in between shampoos, shampoo and moisturize your leave out.

  6. If you have leave out, do not curl or flat iron leave out with a lot of product.  This will cause damage and breakage.

  7. Do not over process leave out with color, relaxer, or heat.

  8. Brush and/or comb your weave or wig with a wide tooth comb or brush.

  9. Protect your hair by sleeping with a satin bonnet, pillowcase, or hair wrap.

  10. If you are in a hurry, with no time to shampoo, consider using a dry shampoo to refresh your hair.  This does NOT mean negate shampooing!

  11. Care for your weave or wig as if it is your own.  The better care you take of it, the longer it last.

 

TIPS

TIP #1 : Moisturize and condition your hair regularly.  This process helps to minimize breakage and split ends that occur when your hair is dry.  Be sure to section off your hair and apply conditioner from the scalp to your ends.

TIP #2 : Protect Your Edges.  This is a must. To protect your edges, avoid using too much heat on your leave out to avoid breakage and thin edges.

TIP #1 : Protect Your Leave Out. Leave out is always susceptible to breakage due to the over styling of this portion of hair when wearing a weave.  In order to preserve leave out, avoid flat ironing or applying a lot of heat when you have product on it (i.e. edge control, spritz, oils, etc).  This will burn (i.e cook) your hair when you apply heat.  Instead, wash out all access product, whether you’re leaving the gym, running errands with your children, or just simply need to freshen up your hair for a big business meeting at work.  Take time to wash your leave out, dry it (preferably with a dry scalp) and then style.   This decreases the chance of burning and damaging your leave out!

 
 

FAQS

ORDER PROCESSING  Our product ships in 2-3 days of your order being placed.   During Penthouse promotions, please allow up to 7 days or your product to ship due to the demand. If your order is placed on the weekend (Saturday/Sunday), your order will be processed the following Monday. If your order is placed on a holiday, then your order will be processed the next business day.

After your order is placed, we are unable to make any changes to your order.  Please verify that all your information is correct prior to submitting your hair purchase.  At the Penthouse, all sales are final.

Penthouse Hair Collection accepts all major credit cards.

Your satisfaction is 100% important to the Penthouse team!!

SHIPPING  At this time, we only ship within the US.  All orders will ship within 2-3 business days of your order being placed. Once your order is placed, you will receive an email with your tracking number for your order.  As a reminder, once the order is processed and shipped, we are unable to make any changes.

Please note: We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

Note:  If you live in an apartment complex  and/or condo, be sure too add your apartment/door number.

DELIVERY  We want you to receive your Penthouse hair since we know this is an important purchase. In certain instances, a delivery is unable to be made or an order is “returned to shipper” for various reasons.   Below are few reasons why this could happen; therefore, it is imperative that you check your order prior to submission.

  • Incomplete address

  • P.O. box is listed 

  • Address is misspelled 

  • Shipment Refused
     

If any packages are returned to the Penthouse, we are happy to issue a refund in the form of a store credit.  This credit will cover the cost of the hair.  Due to changes in pricing and promotions, we cannot guarantee that the pricing, type of hair, or quantity from your original order will be available.

In rare cases, packages may be lost or stolen by the carrier. In these instances, the Penthouse is not responsible for the price or replacement of the lost package.  If this is the case, we recommend opening a dispute with the specific carrier.
